When you refrain from labeling things as good or bad, desirable or unwanted, positive or negative, you will gain peace of mind and find peace all around. With a calm mind, you will be better able to think clearly and decide wisely what the next course of action should be, without being weighed down by emotional baggage.
Prejudices, preferences, opinions, mental conditioning, and past experiences are all contained within the memories of the person has them. The pre-conditioned mind has created so many likes, dislikes, and consequent expectations that the existence of such things is now considered a “normal” part of living.
Most individuals remain completely unaware of these conditional ties. It is this unawareness that creates a stressful living. Peace is all around us. We just need to be aware of imprisoning conditions.
